Obviously it depends on the problem type... Simple problems can be solved simply... But still the law remains the same... i.e If your power cord not working, you have to know some basics of it to find out the fault like it has three wires inside, two wires are essencial and the third is for grounding, it has a fuse inside etc.... * +

I know one thing if I was an engineer I would want to know everything about all the components, I dont think its very professional not to know. * +

agree. the problem is,you can never really know everything,as much as you try cause as with everything else,thing get complicated faster then you could learn about them. luckily,power cords so far remained the same lol * +

Thats what I like about technology allmost more to learn. Thats what makes it so interesting. But just a pity it wasnt more wallet friendly lol * +
