Been around a few weeks now. The 3850 is the top of the range and the only one you really should go for. Its just about quick enough to play most games on. * +

1280 x 1024 gaming performance is acceptable. I suspect that the speed of the RAM you use with it will make a fair difference so i would be getting the quickest possible if i was looking at getting into a cheap gaming platform. This will beat the consoles performance wise, but its still no substitute for even a cheap discrete card like a 5770 for example * +

You can, but it is probably more trouble than it is worth which is why nvidia ditched a similar idea in mobile stuff a fair while ago * +

shouldbe good news for mobile gaming... the gfx are pretty d*mn good for an onchip solution which in many respects beat dedicated discreet laptop gfx cards... gas ddr3 woul help a lot ... you should be ablt to play something like bad company at medium settings with13/9 rez... * +

it took em long enough but with ath a8 they do have a sandy beater when you considder the chips stock performance on a system without a dedicated gpu... and by the looks of it by a fair margin. *
