I was also thinking like that adeeb when I had my p4 with 512mb RAM.... I installed n ran win7 smoothly in that system n found nothing interesting over XP..... But now with my C2D n 1GB RAM, win7 has become awesome... XP is nowhere near it with the aero and eye catching animations.... * +

I've heard win7 optimises itself according to the system resources... So may be this is the reason why it runs even in lowest configurations without any problem, but you'll miss all the main features which makes win7 the best...... * +

Yes jupiter i also read it and i tried it then and in my friends pc it is using maximum 512mb ram from 2gb * +
