My c2duo is 2.93 GHz.... I've overclocked it to 3.68 GHz.... No instability so far.... But can it be overclocked more than this?.... The cpu temp is under 38c even after oc.... Is it normal?... Please give me some idea guys, I'm totally new in oc... * +

iv seen this chip hit 3.9ghz on stock and be rock solid , with a little voltage increase 4ghz should be easy. * +

Thats the main problem dj.... Coz I dont find any option in the bios to change the CPU voltage.... It only has Southbridge and Northbridge voltage option.... What I've done is, increased the FSB code value to 332... * +

im not familar with that boards bios . If ur just increasing the fsb the bios will auto adjust voltage .usally way to much. Download cpuz and see what voltage that reads * +

Its a G41 chipset isn't it? Not intended for serious overclocking, thus it lacks vcore control. Still thats a decent OC. You could push further and see what you get, but without vcore control, it isn't ideal. Still going strong these C2D chips. I sold my mate the Q6700 and he now has it on an X48 board. Fantastic combo * +
