i pair my pc laptop to my imac and im sending a file thats 119Mb in size yet its taking ages. Its been over half an hour now and its sending very slowly. There both bluetooth 2 and there only about 2 metres apart. Does anybody know why this could be? * +

Hmm , the only thing I can think of is that all the bandwidth is being hogged up by other bluetooth devices . Do you have a PS3 paired to anything else , or something like that ? * +

ive got a wireless mouse but when its stationary it cant be hoggin the bandwith and this dosent happen if i send a big file from my phone which sends much farster * +

Why you dont use just a USB cable? Bluetooth is slow, when you want to transfer big files, 100+MB, use USB (if your phone of course have one). * +

because i dont have anyway to link a mac and a pc together with a usb cable. Can you do that? I suspect i will need somekind of adapter
