about 70 - 80 quid if thts enough for decent ones, my current system has really good sound, which just consists of 2 speakers plugged into standard jack. * +

na dont need to go that far, but remember your speaker system and sound quality is only as good as whats making the sound in the first place, get a good fairly cheep set of speakers and use whats left to upgrade your sound card, if you have a naff sound card it dont matter how expensive the speakers are the sound will still be naff, , ive got a good set of Altec Lansing speakers there 4 speaker * +

Dont knock this guys but i tell u sumthink argos value speakers wiv a sum r realy gud, think i payed 10-15 quid 4 mine just 2 put my mp3 player thew when im in my shed and i wud have gladly payed double 4 them * +

Buy a YAMAHA AV amp plus speakers and subwoofer. It will cost you bout 300 euros but it's worth it cause the sound's unbeatable!! Power and quality like no other!! Plus if you add it a stereo BT receiver you can play music from any A2DP device. * +
