2 laptops. One has a intel core 2 duo 1.83ghz T550 the other a intel pentium T4300. The t4300 gets a higher score in win 7 performance than the T550 core2duo. I know the T550 is an older cpu but iam still surprised the pentuim is getting a higher score. Is that just cos of improvements over the last 2-3 years? * +

Ive since been able to confirm the T5550 is 3 years old so I wouldnt be surprised if the t4300 is either as fast or marginaly faster Than the T5550. * +

t4300 has higher clock and newer achitecture + based on 45nm tech *
