was shocked 2 c the gtx 560 so cheap, I'm currently usin a 6870, how does it fare out with this card? not the 560ti, just the 560?, it costs less than the 6870, but forumz say its much faster!? * +

they are both pretty much on par, trading blows with different games. the 6870 is known for poor overclocking.... but it uses less power, if that is of any concern to you? make sure your PSU is up to powering whichever card you chose. * +

and also heres another well known fact The 6870 is well known for having little overclocking headroom. The 560, on the other hand, is known to be a great overclocker, capable of reaching over 1 Ghz. Add in the fact that Nvidia clocks its shaders at 2x the core speed, while AMD clocks shaders at 1x the core speed, it all adds up to better OC scaling and the 560 being a better card for overclocking * +

If you have a 6870 then its just a sideways step. Overclocking is decent on those samples but not amazing, still better than 6870 Oc though * +

oc'ng gfx cards is the 1 thing i have found pointless your talking 1-4fps over all in a game like crysis. which if your struggling to get 30 fps would be a boon but the only cards that can do it give over 30 fps minimum anyway.so because a card oc's doesnt really come into it unless your a bech enthusiast. * +
