just installed firefox 5 on my quad core windows xp desktop and my windows 7 premuim netbook. exactly the same version downloaded at the same time from http://www.download.com but strangely the taskbar layout is different on my xp pc to that of my win 7 netbook why? on my pc the top row shows: file, edit, history, bookmarks, tools, help. * +

on my win 7 netbbok it shows none of this, instead replaces it with a dropdown menu laballed firefox. here you find the options not displayed on the taskbar. STRANGE? * +

is this the 1st u installed ff on both machines... n that top row u refering to is the maen bar ...can b easily turned on or off by right clicking on task-bar. * +

right click empty space on top / menu bar . tick untick as desired * +
