check to c if the is a driver for your laptop here...http://www.higrade.com/nqcontent.cfm?a_id=11025tt=graphiclang=l1 .....if u find it uninstall the current one and reboot ,if it doesn't automatically reinstall try to find on the ... if that fails please copy n paste your ipconfig /all here. * +

U cud try and c if its a ip address problem the laptop might only set 2 a certain address its just a idea im still learning myself lol. * +

request a new ip ..on comand prompt run ipconfig /release press enter key then ipconfig/renew...by the way is this the first u tried using wlan on that laptop? *
