the main concern isn't removing a virus,the main concern is preventing infection in the first place.so first thing you should do is use your brain while browsing. like downloading exe files from sharing sites is likely to bring you no good. in case you do get a virus,it would be neat to know ALL the places in registry from which the software can set itself to auto execute. malware usually modifies userinit for example. preventing such modification in the first place is likely to leave such viru * +
