Ive just upgraded to the samsung galaxy S2 but still have my original galaxy S. I also have a apple imac g4 1ghz. Someone at work is selling a apple imac g5 1.6ghz, 2gb ram, 80gb hd for 150 pounds sterling. We got talking and hes asked if I Would straight swap my galaxy S For his g5 is that a good deal? Should I ask for 50 pounds in money as well cos galaxy s seem to sell for at least 200 shand? * +

But more importantly will the g5 be a lot faster than my g4? Is it worth it for me? (g5 is ppc same as my g4) cos if there isnt much differance I wouldnt do the deal. Just thought it would update my mac side of things a bit. What you guys think? (my g4 has around 760mb of ram) * +

Be aware the G5 has wonky capacitors. I have 2 and have bought and resold 8-every time I get one I replace the capacitors before I even turn it on. The stock capacitors WILL-at some point in time-swell and then kill the logic board. * +

you would notic a difference but there pants anyway sell the lot for 500 including the phones and get an intel 2100, a h81 motherboard,4 gigs of ram, a 500watt psu agts 450 a case and some storage... this chap setup will ruin your expectations of that cr*ppy mac. * +
