Creative do an external soundcard, wanting to know if I buy it for my laptop will I be able to hook up my 5.1 speakers will games n windows use it as a default sound playback device ? * +

Yeah you can connect other speakers to the computers the connection is normally on the back or side * +

And yeah it does work as i play music from my computer to a guitar amp makes it heaps loud lol * +

does the sound card support 5.1 surround? you need to manually set the it as default device in you sound settings if it's not automatically picked up as default * +

Yea I think the soundcard is 5.1 or 7.1 n it's like 30pounds so, it's just if games down puck up the soundcard it's not good 2 me, I bought them for my Tower but it's not fully built yet n won't be for a month or 2 so thought I'll hook em up 2 laptop for now as it's pretty good @ gaming * +
