What ram will work in a p4 is it just ddr1 cos alot of people say ddr2 will work but i dont wanna buy it and find out it wont work is there anyway to find out its an intel p4 and it also says powered by asus are the ddr1 and ddr2 the same size ddr2 is cheaper tho * +

Best thing to do would be to go to MrMemory.co.uk and select your computer make and model it will find the correct RAM for it. Be careful as not all boards support RAM with certain speeds and sizes. Also DDR2 would not fit in a DDR1 slot so make sure you get the right one. * +

On a desk top computer pentium 4 if ddr2 wont work then whats the biggerst size ram ddr1 comes in is it 1gb or 2gb or does it go up to 4gb * +

how old is your pc??what OS are you running? xp? ill assume go to start settings/control panel at the bottom click system what does it say there or get a app to check that will tell you what yor hardware consist of use google to find a app cpu-z would be one * +
