sowi for late reply lol just download latest dx from microsoft install it the game itself is coded for dx10 or 11 you'll need the os that support those 2 versions of dx 10 or 11 if you have vista there is a dx11 patch or update for it you dont need to change any files or anything in your dx9c download from microsoft * +
