there is no real difference and none in performance, changing your drives to dynamic just opens up more options for raid thats all. * +

when i tried it on my raid0 setup i couldnt boot in windows few months back so would this only be for storage?? * +

it wont boot, coz its looking in the wrong place for boot sector * +
