there was a time when we once thought that the mac was impervious to viruses. I once said that myself, but i have been awakened to the fact they do. After a recent scan of my imac showed up a number of viruses and trojans. So times have changed peep's

There was an old joke program that was released back in the 80's that caused old Apple Macintoshs to cause a short in the video monitor . It was just a short series of peek and poke commands . Apple just discovered that it was back in use .

every system today is built too lose.i could tell every malware is demonstration of a bug in the system.by the look of windows that i know the best by far of all systems out there,i can freely say it is full of bugs.starting from multiple run-on-startup type of places.microsoft aproved,services,svchost,rundll32,run,runonce,startup folder,shell,winlogon.. * +

with all these,how they expect the user administer the system without help of another complicated program he cant administer either? and the solution without losing any functionality is a master run key,one and only with a long list of strings to run with parameters what should each be treated as,in the string itself before the file path.this is only a minor fix to keep the system slightly safer. * +

as soon as steam became available for mac the chances of mac viruses went up 100 fold. * +

Yep , that was true about the Steam . But it was mainly from the users downloading a malicious scripts that they thought was cheat aids . * +
