A friend brought me an infected hard drive of 500gb of their company where they backup their important datas for the past 3years, and this virus are just in shortcut forms. What Do i do to be able to recover their files back??? * +

3yrs? any way it hides the folders and makes .exe shortcuts. To prevent future xploitation download sophos 4rm Ms bt meanwhile scan it with an upto date AV to remove virus. * +
