I think when software costs that much the developers really aren't losing out on any sales. If someone uses CS5 as a professional they will buy it. The average person who just uses it to mess around with wouldn't have bought it anyway. There are a lot of tutorials on the sites that we are not allowed to mention here. * +

newt, the high cost is because of the RnD for the software..It's not easy to come up with one, so for the high pricing.. There's other alternative like gimp etc .. pirates.. * +

Exactly.. pw/they.. 'pirates' wouldn't buy it anyway. . The developers know the average person won't buy it and that they will make their money from people who use the software for their profession. * +

well to be honest, am a pirate too lol but i only go for those softwares which is not much in my interest lol usually for one time use like Virtual Clone Drive... need it coz i got no disc player on my laptop.. * +
