When the asus splash screen comes, immediately press the special function key (F2, F8 or F12 depending on the mobo brand) to enter the boot menu or bios setup and check if there's any hardware problem... I suspect it could be a HDD or corrupted OS issue....... To boot from the win7 disk, insert the disk and restart the laptop... It should show u the option to boot from the CD/DVD if the bios is ok... * +

Boot it usin win 7 installation cd. Then on de first option select continu, then second option selectin repair. * +

do you use a loader to crach windows? Do the following boot up from win 7 install disk. Select repair. Select command prompt. Type in bootsect.exe /nt60 /force then restart. If you are using a loader get n new version of it. I hope it helps and remember you must first choose uninstall with a loader then restart then select install and restart then all will be fine * +
