id recomend trying a diggerent lead if its just spurious lines like interfearance. if its hardware based then as dj says. it may work but its just as likley to finish off the card if your ovens thermomitor is off. * +

Like Jay said you need a good digital oven to get accurate temps. You also need to put the PCB on top of balls of tin foil but make sure they don't touch any soldered parts. Best to google. * +

that oven trick works even on hdd. but the diference is insted of usin the oven use the freezer . :-) angthandi uk hleka njalo ! * +

never heard of that one , but the oven trick is well documented to fix old geeforce 8 cards , goto overclocker.co.uk there is a thread in the forums explaining how to do this .lotts of people have done it * +
