I have a dell inspiron laptop and I hav tryd everything I can think of to get this working with no joy ,prob is other ppl can't here me but I here them . Any1 plc help as I want to chat to my gf and c her face ... * +

In mic settings, it must be external mic, change it to internal one * +

ok if you are using win7 without sound driver you may face that problem, after clean install install audio driver then it will work properly... good luck * +

open skype select option and audio. select the default recording device and default playback device. now open your audio pannel in controll pannel and select your mike and headset as your defaults. make sure there both working. and click ok. then go back to skype and test them. if configured proppelry they should work if not then check drivers. * +

I too have a dell, and skype did the same to me, when i checked in settings, the default was external, and not the internal mic, driver has got nothin to do wit it * +
