This is the wonderfull experiance ive had with my new N Type router. 1) my computer will not the read the installation cd despite the fact that it reads every other disc perfectly. Upon googling it I find other people have had the same issue. 2) no problem I thought, I Will download it from belkin uk. But no the download doesnt work. * +

Oddly when you attempt to download it vlc player kicks in and tells it cant read the file! Thinking it could be an issue with firefox I Tried internet explorer with the same result! So now iam left with a useless pile of junk that iam taking back to currys tomorrow. * +

VLC... Have you associated .bin files with the player and that is the firmware that you're trying to download? * +

I can't see a setup download on the UK website for that model. The US site has one for an N300 but different model number, you should probably try to find out if it's compatible with your router. Why don't you just enter the settings manually? * +

So long as you DON'T use firmware from another model, I can't see there being a problem apart from the setup giving you an error or something. * +

i usually avoid belkin, but i have the V1 of this model setup for my dad at his place. works well for a belkin, never been any problem. +1 vote for manual config, at least you know it's done right. * +
