Sorry if this is a noob question but i'm trying to help a friend out. The wireless router is connected and on. Its a netgear. everything is set up and one can even connect to the net but other devices cannot connect to it. they find the network but when the input password is kept in there is an error saying unable to connect. Does anyone know why this is? Or is there a way to diagnose the problem? *

reset router, set it again and restart device before connecting it, also check on router if there is any MAC adress lock.. *

will try that or rather tell the friend to do that. from my vantage point of view all the items looked fine. what is strange is all wi-fi devices nearby pick up the connection but cannot connect to the net through it. also before all devices would connect through it but when no key was set. when a key was set then other devices cant connect. *
