My pc stopd workin all at once. I thought da problm woz wid th psu. Bt i opened up the casin n found out that da power light on the motherboard is lit green. My question is, cud it b my cmos battery has died? Wen i press da strt switch nthn hapenz.. Help! * +

it would still start just every time power but bios would reset to defaults * +

check gfx card hasn't came loose and check all connections including monitor. It's not the CMOS battery although it won't hurt to clear the CMOS. Do you hear normal POST beeps after starting your PC? * +

what i woulld do is disconnect EVERYTHING except cpu! then try turning it on.. if it switches on obviously it wont boot.. then start plugging in the HDD and ram etc one at a time if it stops booting after plugging in something then you found your problem.. *
