just dug my old emachines case out the cupboard and thinking of doing my first build,, already swiped the hard drive and using it as an external for current pc,, its currently got and old p4 in it,,, reckon it will take next 12 months to build,, thinking of putting 6 x phenom II into it,, any advice for my first build people * +

i wouldnt waste money on a amd part when you can have an i5 2500k for similar money. average price of a 955 be is 110pounds the 2500k can be had for 25 pounds more and gives huge perfomance gains in productivity... we are talking 25-40 percent at stock and 70 percent a decent oc. rediculous power to price ratio... * +

Ive Got 4GB ddr3 for it for when I get started.. Just gonna pick up bits and pieces for it over next 12 months *
