My sister has a PC virus on her phone so the local camera shops won't or can't print her photos. I have AV on my Pc so that will protect my Pc from her virus while I try to cleanse it for her? * +

didn't know a pc virus would infect phones, but your Av should protect your pc if its up to date. * +

It's on the phone but has no effect on the phone biut the photographic printers recognise it as a virus so ithey won't allow her to print her photographs. * +

use pc suite on the pc to explore the phone s memory. Backup the data on your pc and format that phone. i guess on v3 and v2 phone's the files on phone memory don't autorun. So no chance of virus infection is their. As simple as eating chocolate .

I doubt their is any. All you can do is copy the important data from phone memory to memory card on your nokia. Then put the memory card in a usb card reader and scan it on pc or copy it on pc.. * +

Or use x-plore, open autorun.inf on mem card, check what .exe file is in the autorun file, select them hit 6 uncheck hiden, system and read only, then delete, have done it many times on my 6710 * +
