Most if not all new games that are released, and support controll pads will support the 360 pad without having to modify anything. Older games might need a program like xpadder. * +

I think Bioshock 2 on the PC didn't support gamepads and it was intentionally done by the developers. * +

GTA 4 does, just plug in and play. I would guess Shift does too as it's a racing game. * +
