my one hard drive has gone rogue and is now being shown as raw in disc management. its also being picked up as 536mb and its a hefty 10gig drive lol. is there any way to get the stuff that was on it? some of the files there were of sentimental value. partition progs only pick up an mft partition of 536mb nothing else. it was a slavesecondary drive with no OS system on it. * +

try booting from linux cd and see if you can read it. but as you said ''RAW'' u r really down. Only thing you can do is try a quick format. And only 50 percent chance are their that you can recover only image files using software like Power file recovery or recuva etc on the condition the quick format is success full. As * +

i tried easus partition manager but with it i only see this mft partition which is 536mb and it does not contain any familiar file. i messed with partition table doctor and it messed up everything. i was forced to reinstall win7. thats all i've tried so far * +

You got it backwards . S.O.S. is for morse code and is no longer used for emergencies , mayday is for voice radio and is still in use . Try watching The Deadliest Catch . * +
