hello. i have a simple download application. i changed its download directory to c:/windows/addins, all i would like to know is that if you download to this directory will it halt/freeze windows vista? the computer is a q9550 2gb ram windows vista business edition. reason is, sum1 said i downloaded there and it made windows halt/freeze or sumthing like that. i wasnt there at the time when it happened so i dont believe that statement made by him. i see no way it could crash because it was rar fil *

rar files being downloaded. also the c 500gb hdd had over 300gb free space so thats not a problem. any ideas? cos i highly doubt than downloading to that directry could cause this ios to crash *

yes Nothing should be downloaded into c:/windows folder. It is a folder which run's your Vista. Download your file else where like in my documents or on desktop. *
