no,not really,i moved countless programs from program files to other drives,been renaming the other drive directory countless times,all programs worked.that is cause most programs simply rebuild their registry entries on run. in some,like 1 percent cases,i had to register a few dlls via batch.thats all really * +

Those were portables probably. Most non portable programs wont work * +

nope,just for the fun of it,take internet explorer and copy the folder to desktop.then double click the exe.thats the same you can expect from thousands of other programs.firefox on the other hand,requires reregistering the profile via profile manager *
