Got my new monitor today and glasses, set everything up and played a few games. Tried BFBC2 first and although I was very impressed with the 3D effects, my frame rate was often just 30fps. So I had to lower the gfx, but whatever, it still looked really good. Dragon age 2 and Mafia 2 looked great and I was still getting 55-60fps, Mafia 2 was all settings high but AA only x1. The real shocker for me was Batman: Arkham Asylum. OMFG! Gfx maxed out (can't remember AA settings) and PhysX on high, plu * +

Plus 3D, the game looks absolutely stunning. And it pretty much stays at 60fps. I don't really know how to describe just how good the game looks. It's like the people in the game are figurine models standing there, like on a high detailed set that you have made. Individual bits of the jokers hair stands out. The threads in the guards clothes have depth. The whole room and lots of detail has depth. * +

Does it look realistic? * +

It looks amazing and I would definitely recommend 3D to anyone who has a decent rig and can afford it. I never want to play in 2D again. * +

Very realistic. From what I remember, watching films in the cinema, it's only certain objects that come out from the screen in 3D. It's similar to that in some of the games I played but batman looks like an animated real life or something. 3D should be a must for next gem IMO * +

There are only 12 games that carry the label '3D Vision Ready' at the moment, I'm guessing they will be the games that will look best. Games not on that list still look really good though. There are still hundreds that are meant to look ''excellent'' http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-3d-games.html * +

cool. But too much of 3d is not good for eyes. * +

Yeah I heard that. I played for a few hours and luckily didn't experience any discomfort or eye strain. * +
