I posted a topic earlier about my mouse continuously freezing. then earlier today, i got a popup message from norton saying that nero is using 99 p.cent of my cpu! could this be the reason? why is nero using so much? ive only used nero once, a good few months ago. is there any settings that i should change? * +

i haven't got to use the latest version of nero but yeah,it is bloatware yet it never used 99 cpu for me.and the mouse freezing thing.. maybe your system is messed up,i'd do a reinstall from scratch to be on the safe side. cause you obviously don't know whats going on with your system,there could be all kind of hell there * +

thanks editor. im first gonna delete nero, and see if that helps.if not, ill reinstall windows. ive googled this nero problem, and there are a lot of people with the same problem (google using up to 100 pc of cpu) * +

Getting a video card with higher memory is about the only solution you will find with Nero , that and maybe increasing the size of your page file . But as long as your processor does not overheat , you should be fine . *
