Am i limited to using wwan embedded mobile broadband if the laptop has that capability or can i use a usb stick as an alternative? And R there any advantages of using wwan over a usb stick? * +

You sound german username ,try go buy a Aldi Medion Usb stick not expensive try get the Huawei E160 if theyre still do it their ,as you can easily unlock it to accept any simcard and if ur clever youll enable voice calls and mms also * +

depends what providers in the uk allow you to use sim only in laptops . and what the deals are like also you have to consider coverage * +
