had this system at work that was really infected,was runnin eset antivirus on it, unstalled it an installed bitdefender,installation ran ok!asked 2 restart so I did! it dosnt come up after that just passes boot screen to where u see windows is loading and it stucks there...any suggestion?try runing a fixboot same prob! dosnt boot in safe mode either * +

am gona add! d sys has like 1gb of memmory an I see stuff runnin in d process that idk..mem usage went as high as 2.3gb! was using more memmory than d sys actually so naturally it gonna crawl! system restored tho after that,that's when I tryed installed d antivirus n it gave prob! when I was installin bit mem usage was fine...jus thought I should note that,was thinkin of runing a chkdsk * +

repaire install is probably the safest option but may well not work if the syutem is fully infected. if its just a fake av/addware installer then fine. if its a propper virus the best thing is to format * +
