last time when i tried to change ma pc screen resolution the screen had turned black and some kinda error had come but yesterday when i was playing game after stopping it the screen resolution turned to 1280*780 why did it happened i didnt installed a graphics card i just upgraded the ram * +

I think you had selected a bigger resolution/frequency which your gf or monitor couldn't display... Anyways, you should have noted the error message to determine what actually happened... * +

Then you surely had selected a frequency which your monitor doesn't support.... Most LCD's support 60-75Hz... Whats ur monitor resolution and max frequency? * +

Oh... I thought its an LCD... Btw, whats your problem now?... As far as the resolution going high is concerned, it could be because of the automatic resolution setup of the gf... Sometimes it automatically sets a false resolution when a res error occurs... May be this is the case for yours... * +

i dont have any graphics card except of 64mb internal the maximum resolution was 1024*768 now it is again gone higher to 1480*645 oh i am getting afraid * +
