we may have found your problem then... like i said check your cpu usage to the gpu usage. if its maxed out on the cpu and 50 or less percent of the gfx card, it means the cpu is under minimum spec for the game. either oc the chip to give you roughly another core or get a quad core i5 * +

But the game run's on c2d perfectly with high settings and resolution set at 1280x x xX something coupled with 1gig ddr2 gfx * +

I guess the game's recommended h.ware is 512mb gfx with shader 3 or above and cpu of c2d above 2.50ghz *
