I m planning to get a LCD tv with a usb port but first I want to clarify few things. can I play media files on tv which are present on Pen drive. also can I record tv on it? need ur views on this matter. warm regards ... * +

It will depend on whether or not the TV is made with them features in mind. You will have to read the specs. My TV has a USB slot and it plays back video, music and photos. i would assume that any TV with a USB slot would do the same, unless it's only there for updating the firmware but i doubt that. * +

my samsung lcd tv has a usb port but only accepts firmware updates on it * +
