My laptop has recently started booting up very quickly. I've checked msconfig and everythying that should be running at startup is set to open, but it's sudden;y not taking as much time as it used to. Am I being paranoid or is something wrong? * +

it may be booting quicker because of prefetch. every time you boot your pc the files most used are ordered in prefetch then every 3 days windows optomizes them after a few weeks windows will boot faster than when you first got it for this reason. you may have also defraged recently which will also help * +
