i have got two computer. one is desktop which is connected through wire to my router and another is laptop which is connected wirelessly to my router.now what i want is that. i like to increase the internet connection speed to my desktop which is connected through wire and i want to reduce the internet connection speed to my laptop which is connected wirelessly.got dlink router *

Erm , get a combination wired and wireless router . Then you can configure the router the choke the wireless speeds . *

just use QoS in your router. put your PC as higher priority. or maybe download netlimiter program on laptop. *
