Like operamini, ucweb, bolt etc... Why dont they display animations or just anything that moves on d web page like d download countdown on 4shared and loads of other sites... What is the function called? Is it that developers wont enable it or its impossible?? * +

So , you say it's impossible for a java flashed based program to display animated gif's or png's ? Explain all the j2me games and programs that do exactly that . My Accuweather program does that . * +

But I do think those remote servers freezes the animations on the first frame to save on server resources . * +
