Then everything depends on ur gfx card if u got 1gb ram and 256mb gfx memory then ur system will be stable and games start atleast * +

No. Listen, 7 and vista will idle using 1Gb of memory if you have enough. You need to have enough to allow that really, you want that. It'll run with 1Gb but i agree here you really want 2Gb so you have a chunk for everything else as well as the OS being fully inside system memory * +
