to run win 7 ultimate you need more than 2 gigs of ram, when installed and running win7 ultimate uses 1.28gigs with av installed. that is the idle. to play games you will need another gig at least so i recomend 3 gigs minimum. if you use basic the requirments drop somewhat to around 756mb and you can get away with 1.5-2gigs of ram. * +
