Hey guys..how do i know if a given RAM is DDR1 or DDR2? My friend gave me a ram that had chips on one side told me it was a DDR2 RAM wen i plucked mine out from the motherboard, i found it to have chips on both sides n a a bit narrow that what he gave me, his had a longer width than mine but same in length. * +

is there a sticker on the ram? if so google is ur freind with it and it dont matter if it has chips on one side or both * +
