So today my 460gtx arrived but noticed they sent me the 768mb and not 1gb, they also billed me for the 768mb so paid less but wanted to know how it performs? Is it worth keeping it or should i send it back? Im not such a hardc*re gamet but def want to play nfs hot pursuit and call of duty black ops on high * +

lol need for speed hot pursuit can be maxed out by almost any card. black ops.. different story. i say stick to it if you not too keen on returning it. i'm a wannabe hardc*re gamer so i would go for the 1gb. * +

I think I would send it back. There isn't a lot of a difference on the benchmarks over at Toms Hardware though.. http://is.gd/0qp11M

The benchmarks can be deceptive. 1gb memory should be a minimum for cars these days. Games can and do use over 768mb. Its fairly common now * +

the performance varys between the 768mb and 1gb gtx460 . theres really not that much diffrence to justify the 50 pounds or so more that the 1gb card cost . * +
