What is the best program preferably freeware to use for making photo slideshows with background music and effects... i had done a very nice one with windows 7 dvd maker only to find out that it requires a dvd and i want to burn on CD. its a small collection of pics. all adding up to 8 mins only. So any other alternative that has output to CD or vcd? tried movie maker but not entirely happy with it * +

There are many softwares for doing this. Even Nero would do this, or you could also try Irfan View etc. * +

Nero is something i dont wanna have on my pc. i thought irfanview was just a image viewer. if all else fails i'll try nero... * +
