Is there such servers to do online gaming.. also is it as easy as getting the game and going to th eserver to play. curious to try online gaming however i dont know about some of the technicalities required. just that a game is needed, your pc should be able to run that game. also there is mention of steam which i saw tossed about aroudn here however i never saw the need to look into it till now. *

Pressed Post before i could even type the question. Is there anything as online gaming in SA given the exuberant costs of net. although i'm thinking with mweb unlimited net this has been somewhat alleviated. Any public servers. I noticed vodacom gaming portal. Anything else similar to that? *

Not sure, you could get a pc format and look at the lan calander, then go to something like liberty lan, and access do uncapped adsl at r99 and uncapped unshaped at r199 *

i was in favor of online gaming rather than LAN gaming till i realized my net is too slow so i may not be able to play the game proper. i'm still curious to try and see. will join a server running say CS or even quake and see how it fares. *
