Ohk so this might be abit of a dumb Q but i blame it on all the info on the world wide web. i just want to know is there anyway any wireless device connect to a pc without wireless card or router and not using any cables. i have read about turning a pc into a hotspot with a software based router like connectify but is it even possible that no wireless hardware is required? * +

i'm not in the states but i did look it up and yea that would be handy. Anyways no problem... all i need is a laptop with WI-FI. would get a card for my pc but i'd rather not invest in that and then get a laptop. * +

so all these other softwares such as connectify and virtual router only replace the router part but a wireless component is still needed in the pc and cannot be emulated by software * +
