First thing I bought for the laptop was a cooling stand - just having it well ventilated helped more than the fan... Next thing I did was a clean install of Windows - HP software is terrible. * +

na u clever cause that thing gpu overheats an messes with wifi or any wireless hardware it has some melted some s**t and needed to be repaired lol * +

i was gunning for one... they seem to be the most ideal if one is to attempt any gaming on a laptop.. i currently have my eye on one with a HD 5650 graphics card... the are well priced for what they have inside of em. Atleast that's what i've seen. as for the heating issues i heard they got addressed with the new line/range of dv6 * +
