my lap top as 38 viruses trojans it will not let me do anythink not even format it what can i do * +

you need a boot disk to be able to format it. windows wont let you format the o.s. partition while its running. to get a clean format. boot into bios and make the dvd the primary boot device, save and quit let the dma update and then insert the disk and turn off the pc and turn it off at the wall so the motherboard dranes all charge... after about a minute or so. turn on, and boot off the disk. * +

when you get to the format options, best completley wipe the disk so delete any partitions (except the recovery partition if you have 1) and repartition the drive. now select full format, not quick. 1s done install the o.s as normal... dont do any of this unless you have all the drivers to get you back online. 1s done reboot and you should be clean. * +
